Forums

Some sites on the internet have Photoshop forums and these can be very useful, because you can ask questions, share ideas, join challenges, etc.

Some forums should be avoided, because of a few reasons:

  • people on some of these forums can be very rude
  • too much focused on one group; age and/or experience
  • slow or difficult to use
  • not enough focus on Photoshop
  • not enough focus on professional results
  • too much chit/chat

Adobe Forums
Adobe has forums for all of their products. Two of these forums are dealing with Photoshop, one for Windows users, the other one for Mac users.
Interesting is that the same forum is available as newsgroup; add the newsgroup called adobeforums.com to Outlook (Express) and use the user name and password with which you registered on Adobe's web site.
